About KinderMission Academy in High Point, NC.
We are a play-based preschool in High Point dedicated to providing accessible child care to all our families. We care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready for their next big adventure.
From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression the children at KinderMission Academy are constantly being exposed to new activities and environments to help them develop and thrive. We build on the strengths and interests of each child to help create a solid foundation where they can develop their futures.
Our Philosophy
Our preschool is based on play-based learning, creativity and exploration. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we can create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.
Who We Are
KinderMission Academy got its start in High Point in 2018 by Betsy Rodriguez. After struggling to find affordable, high-quality child care that puts the child first. Betsy decided to be the change she needed to see in the child care industry. She has created a nurturing and fun space for every child to learn and develop. Dedicated to helping families and the community, she works with them to ensure that no child or family is left behind.
Children are encouraged to explore the world around them and through play-based learning they are developing those key skills that will help them lead a successful life. We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage exploration, discovery, emotional intelligence and building friendships.

Our PTA plans community activities, fundraisers, and provides suggestions about our existing policies or creating new policies.
Class Ratio
Average class ratio per classroom is 1:4 for our infants and toddlers and 1:6 for our preschoolers.
Inclusivity
We serve all students and specialize in working with students that have an Individualized Learning Plan in place. We work closely with therapists to reach the student’s developmental goals.
CPR classes
For our teachers, ECE community and the overall community.
We offer a wide variety of activities, including gardening, music, dance and more.
